Eastern Rovers are one of only a few clubs in the Eastern suburbs that provide the opportunity for players over 35 to play footy in this relaxed and fun competition. We are located in Ferntree Gulley and have teams that cater for players from over 35 years (Superules) to over 40's (Masters) and as of next year an over 48's team (Legends). This league runs parallel  to the more serious "Vets" or Veterans football competitions (over 32) in the area. 

 The Game of Superules/Masterules Football (MAF) was established to provide the opportunity for players 35 years and over to enjoy the game of Aussie Rules Football in a safe, supportive and fun environment, with slightly modified rules to ensure the older bodies are looked after and reduce the risk of injury

You will find a welcoming atmosphere at Eastern Rovers Superules F.C, with an emphasis on family involvement and fun social interaction. Superules is footy for fun and we welcome players of all levels,so even if you haven't kicked a footy in years, or maybe carrying some extra beef, there is still a spot on the team for you. We train once a week on Wednesdays, and play once a fortnight on Sunday afternoons so there is plenty of time to recover.

We are located at in the Eastern Suburbs at Picketts Reserve, Ferntree Gulley Melways Map Ref 73 J2.
